To access Game Advisor with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, follow these steps:
In AMD Software, enter "Advisor" into the search box (highlighted below), and click on the "Game Advisors" result displayed.

- A list of recently played games will be provided.
- If performance information is not available, load your game of choice and play it for a while (minimum 180 seconds). This allows Game Advisor to gather sufficient information about the game’s performance.
Note: This is required for new installations or after reset game stats / factory reset was performed.
- If performance information is not available, load your game of choice and play it for a while (minimum 180 seconds). This allows Game Advisor to gather sufficient information about the game’s performance.
Game Advisor gives a summary of graphics performance for the last game played, for example.

Click on Graphs & Recommendations to expand the report for more detailed information, for example.

Game Advisor measures game performance and reports on the following:
- Average Frame Rate - Average frames per second (FPS) achieved in the game.
- 95th Percentile - The longest time taken to process a single frame.
- Frame Time - Frame time graph for the measured period.
- Frame Time by Percentile - Frame time by percentile graph of increasing order for the measured period.
- Performance Grade - Overall game performance rating based on the current graphics and display configuration:
- Marginal - In-game performance can be optimized, and recommendations are available that may help improve performance.
- Optimal - Good in-game performance but some recommended tweaks may further enhance the gaming experience.
- Excellent - Outstanding in-game performance with adequate headroom for higher image quality. However, if maximum quality settings were already used in-game, then recommendations will not be available.
Apply Game Advisor recommended tweaks using the in-game graphics menu and options. Note: Some recommendations may not be applicable because the option is not available or supported in-game.
After applying recommended tweaks, play the game for at least 180 seconds and check Game Advisor for an updated performance report and recommendations. If no new recommendations are available, then the game is optimized for best experience on the current system graphics.
To see graphics performance and recommendations for other games, load the game of choice and play it as normal. After a while check Game Advisor for a summary of performance with recommendations for that game.
