AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000, and HD 2000 Series Linux Support

AMD started supporting distribution specific versions of the popular Linux variants in 2014 and we began by providing support for RHEL and Unbuntu.

Since the AMD Radeon™ HD 4000 and older products were move to a legacy support model in 2013, they were not included in the list of supported products for these specific distributions.

To take full advantage of the advanced features these Linux variants provide,  AMD suggests you upgrade to a current graphics card model.
