Note: Customers using RHEL 7.9 with more than one GPU may encounter the X Server failing to start.  To workaround the issue, add Option "PrimaryGPU" "yes" to configuration file 00-amdgpu.conf as follows:

To use the Vulkan® driver in this stack, the Vulkan SDK needs to be installed. The SDK can be downloaded from: https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home

Fixed Issues

  • CgFX Plug-In does not load in Maya 2023 on all-open driver
  • Linux Pro MGPU RHEL9.0 display corruption is seen on X11 Display Manager when connected to more than three displays

Known Issues

  • Flickering issues observed in ABAQUS 2022 while zooming in and out
  • MotionBuilder 2023 does not launch correctly
  • Linux Pro MGPU corruption is seen under Clone mode on a RHEL system
  • GUI is unresponsive after waking up from suspended state on a Wayland system
    • To workaround the issue, do one of the following:
      • Use X11 by uncommenting #WaylandEnable = false in /etc/gdm/custom.conf
      • Do not suspend system
  • Corruption observed in Firefox browser
    • To workaround the issue, uninstall Firefox from snap and reinstall classic Firefox
  • Segmentation Fault may be seen when running SPECviewperf 2020 benchmark
    • To workaround the issue, add environment variable export __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=amd in /etc/environment
