Fixed Issues

  • This is the inaugural driver for Radeon Pro SSG. There are no preceding issues to be fixed.


Known Issues

  • Unexpected behavior in Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC 8K playback when resuming from sleep and hibernate.
  • The uninstaller may not remove amdssg64.sys during uninstall.
  • Warning messages may be observed during Radeon ProRender installation for Autodesk® 3ds Max® and SOLIDWORKS®.
  • Intermittent Thermal Sensor POST Error occurrence on boot with HP Z840 Workstation.
  • User may encounter unexpected behaviors when resume from sleep states.
  • The user may experience unexpected behavior creating 4x1 or 6x1 AMD Eyefinity™ display configurations with 5K displays.
  • Unexpected behavior with Packed Pixel with 10-bit support.
  • Unexpected behavior with 6 4K display configuration while running 3DMark Fire Strike.


NOTE: This driver is not intended for use on Radeon™ products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support.

When installing this driver for the Microsoft® Windows® operating systems, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of Radeon™ Pro Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.1.
