AMD Alveo™ Accessories

The Alveo Programmable Cable provides development access for Alveo cards that utilize the maintenance connector. The cable provides micro-USB support from a host PC to the Alveo card maintenance connector. For more information, see the Alveo Programming Cable User Guide.

U200/U250 Micro-USB connector location requires elongated USB for proper connection on Active cards due to blocking from heat spreader. Elongated USB cables can be used for both active and passive cards, but is a must have for active cards.

The Aux power connector on Alveo™ U200/U250/U280 Active card configuration is located on the top side of the card, a straight-on cable can prevent vertically mounted slot servers from closing. In this case a right angle adapter required.
