Subject to AMD’s warranty terms and conditions, AMD warrants to the original purchaser that CPU processors purchased by an end consumer as an AMD Processor in a Box (PIB), when properly installed and used, will be free from defects in material and workmanship and will substantially conform to the AMD publicly available product specifications for a period of three (3) years after the date the AMD processor was purchased. For complete details, terms and conditions about the AMD Limited Warranty, please see: AMD Warranty Terms & Conditions
Any AMD processor with signs of physical damage due to external causes, including, without limitation, improper use, problems with electrical power, accident, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper testing will invalidate the AMD Limited Warranty and will not be eligible for AMD warranty service.

Warranty
If you have an AMD processor purchased from an authorized reseller in an untampered, authentic AMD-branded Processor-in-a-Box that you believe is defective due to physical damage and that you believe may be covered under the AMD Limited Warranty, please submit your warranty claim to AMD for evaluation.
AMD will test and exam the processor to determine, in its opinion, if it is defective and if the root cause of the defect is covered by the terms of the limited warranty.
