Order Information

  1. Are there any limitations or restrictions, when purchase from AMD.com?
    • Based on demand, AMD may limit purchases (for example, to one per person/household), to ensure we reach the broadest number of customers. This could include cancellation of multiple orders, once placed.
    • Orders placed utilizing automation or other means to circumvent store protections, or other store policies, will be cancelled.

  3. What payment methods do you accept?
    • We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal.
  4. When will my credit/debit card be charged?
    • We will not bill you until your product(s) has shipped. If your items are shipped separately, you will be billed each time an item is shipped.

      If using PayPal as your payment method, you will be charged immediately.
  5. How will the charge show up on my credit/debit card?
    • The charge will appear on your credit card as: AMD Online Store
  6. How do I get a copy of my invoice?
  7. Do I have to pay sales tax?
    • Depending on the order, sales tax may be calculated and charged. Any sales tax charged will be indicated once your billing and/or shipping address have been entered during checkout. The price indicated includes anticipated VAT that we will collect from you based on information you make available to us. The total price may change during the course of the shopping session depending on a number of factors. However, you will have the opportunity to review the final price we will charge before you submit your order.

      A national VAT rate will be applied on physical goods for customers based in EU countries. This VAT may not be shown as a separate charge during checkout and may instead be included in the product price (VAT inclusive pricing). If you are based in the EU and are purchasing for a company registered for VAT, you may not have to pay VAT on your purchase. Please enter your VAT exemption number when prompted during the purchase process. To be prompted for a VAT exemption number, be sure to enter a Company Name when entering your billing information. When your VAT exemption number has been validated, your VAT will be automatically updated to zero, if applicable. In the event that your order does not qualify for VAT exemption, we will not be able to remove this charge from the order. 

      Tax-exempt individuals and entities in the United States can request a refund of the tax paid on an order. We will need a copy of your tax-exempt certificate and the billing or shipping address on the order must match the address on the certificate. You can email a copy of your certificate, with order number or invoice to cstaxexemptions@digitalriver.com.
  8. I need help with an order I placed with another retailer.
    • We can only assist with purchases made through the AMD Online Store. The retailer you originally ordered from will be able to assist you with any issues related to the purchase process.

Shipping Information

NOTE! Orders must be received and confirmed by 2:00pm Eastern for US orders, 11:00am Eastern for Canada orders, to be processed the same business day.  Orders received after these specified times will be processed the following business day.

    • Unfortunately, you cannot change your shipping address after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the warehouse and can no longer be changed by our system. If your package is not successfully delivered, it will be returned to the warehouse and a credit will be made to your account.
  4. Can I change my shipment method?
    • Unfortunately, you cannot change your shipment method after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the warehouse and can no longer be changed by our system.
  5. Which countries does the AMD Store ship to?
    • US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

Returns and Cancellations

  1. What is your refund policy?
    • All purchases made on the AMD Online Store may be returned unopened within 30 days for a full refund.
  2. How do I cancel my order?
    • Once an order has been processed it is immediately sent to the warehouse for shipping and cannot be changed nor cancelled. You may reject the package upon arrival and the carrier will return it to our warehouse. Once received and processed at our warehouse, we will withdraw the order and reverse your payment. 
  3. How do I request a refund?
    • To request a refund, please fill out the AMD Warranty Request Form and submit it to AMD Customer Care for processing.

      NOTE! To ensure that your refund request is processed in a timely manner, on the AMD Warranty Request Form select your product type from the pull down menu and include the following details in the Problem Description field:
       
      • Clearly state “Refund Request” in the text body
      • Provide your AMD Online Store order number that the product was purchased under
      • Provide a reason why you are requesting the refund

  1. When will I see my credit appear in my account?
    • After your returned product(s) have been received in our warehouse and successfully processed, your refund will appear in your account within 5 to 7 business days.

      Please be aware that if you purchased using a method other than credit card, you may be prompted to provide bank details so we may credit your account.
