Threadripper Cooler Compatibility**
AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ 7000 series processors come with the same Asetek-compatible cooler bracket in the box as previous-generation Threadripper products. Because of this, premium Asetek-compatible coolers are supported as listed below. In addition, major cooling partners will be releasing updated, dedicated socket sTR5 coolers for Threadripper 7000 series processors in the near future. AMD recommends these models in general, and specifically the options that offer larger cooling blocks that can cover more of the Threadripper 7000 series heat spreader. This is especially important for processors that feature more than 64 cores, and specifically the 96-core Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX processor.
The following list contains some of the thermal solutions submitted by manufacturers with specifications to support AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000-series and 1000 to 5000 series processors.
