We partner with strategic, non-profit organizations to advance quality education with an emphasis in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); environmental sustainability; basic needs and social services; and humanitarian relief.

Supporting Girls in STEM with Technovation Girls
Technovation Girls empowers girls globally to solve community issues with technology. In 2023, AMD sponsored competitions in Armenia and Ireland, awarding top teams for apps addressing child safety and mental health.
AMD offices worldwide hosted activities, including office visits and hackathons, to help prevent the "summer slide" and inspire students to pursue STEM careers.
AMD welcomed students and staff members from the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin, TX, for a special hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experience in honor of National STEM Day in the United States.
As part of our aspiration to promote sustainable livelihoods for Indian women and girls living in disadvantaged communities, we broadened our community programs focused on education.
In 2023, AMD and Maynooth University came together to establish an AMD Learning Lab in Dublin, Ireland, to support the “STEM Passport for Inclusion” program for secondary school female students in socially disadvantaged communities.
AMD volunteers are deeply connected to their local communities. They embrace a spirit of generosity and give their time and talent with enthusiasm and compassion. AMD nurtures this culture through company-sponsored volunteering and provides opportunities for teams to connect while giving back.
When called upon to take action in support of our planet on Earth Day, AMDers around the world rose to the occasion. Led by AMD Community Affairs Volunteer Liaisons and Go Green Employee Resource Groups, AMD teams across 27 global sites planned events throughout April and May to conserve the environment and spread awareness on issues impacting environmental sustainability.
AMD and our employees advance our communities through charitable giving – both monetary and in-kind contributions. AMD and the AMD Foundation provide grants to nonprofit organizations based on recommendations from employee-led councils, local needs, and strategic alignment.
Our employees around the globe are encouraged to give back through the AMD Matching Gift and Volunteer Reward program, AMD matches eligible donations 1:1 up to US$1,500 per employee and US$500 per co-op/intern.
Pushing today’s boundaries requires the imagination and creativity of the next generation, and we are especially passionate about enabling future leaders with our products. We partner with local organizations to establish AMD-powered Learning Labs that inspire students to pursue STEM education.
