Frequently Asked Questions

HYPR-RX has the ability to enable both in-driver and also in-game features depending on if a game is HYPR-Tune optimized. To see which features are specifically enabled per HYPR-RX profile, see above 

  • HYPR-Tune optimization applies towards a specific list of games that have been further optimized for increased performance when AMD HYPR-RX is enabled. Usually when you enable HYPR-RX, in-driver features such as AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF 2)4, AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Boost, and Radeon Chill (in HYPR-RX Eco) will be enabled immediately, and you can begin enjoying your games.
  • For titles that are HYPR-Tune optimized (see table below), if the title supports AMD FSR, then FSR 1, 2, or 3 “Quality” mode upscaling will be automatically enabled in-game for an even better experience. In select FSR 3 titles, frame generation will also be enabled instead of AFMF. If the title does not have FSR support, then RSR will be enabled in the driver and the in-game resolution will be automatically lowered to the next lowest resolution below your monitor’s native resolution to activate RSR.
  • HYPR-Tune can also enable AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 in games that support this in-game latency reduction technology.  (see table below).
